From Hebrews 2:18 - "For because he himself has suffered and been tempted, he is able to help those who are tempted."
ReplyDeleteThis passage reminded me of Anne Rice's 2nd book "Christ the Lord: Road to Cana." She really expands on this concept and helps humanize our Lord's struggles. So often I forget that He can empathize with our daily challenges. Both of Rice's "Christ the Lord" books would be great reads during Lent if you haven't taken the time to enjoy them yet.
